| zoo area |
As the name implies the Alpenzoo is located on the slopes of a mountain. Most of the paths through the zoo are sealed, however some of them are relatively steep. We therefore recommend comfortable shoes. It will take you 1.5 to 2 hours to visit all parts of the zoo. If you want to take a short cut use the stairs. Most paths and exhibits are accessible to wheelchairs, especially those close to the entrance – but don´t forget – some parts of the zoo area are quite steep. |
