Please note that the parking facilities at the Alpenzoo belong to the city of Innsbruck and are therefore part of their charging zones. The parking fee has to be paid daily from 9.00 am to 7.00 pm (also on weekends and holidays).
During the first four hours the fee is 20 cents for each half hour, after that you pay a rate of 1 euro for each half hour. |

| cable railway | with combi card it includes: (The combi ticket is available at the lower terminal of the cable railway “Innsbrucker Nordkettenbahn” (Congress Innsbruck). Please show you parking ticket when you buy the combi card.
The operating hours of the cable car section I (Congress – Löwenhaus – Alpenzoo – Hungerburg) are 7.00 am - 7.30 pm; weekend and holidays 8.00 am - 7.30 pm. |

| by bus | Take the M bus from the main train station to the „Marktplatz“ (close to the center of Innsbruck, the first one leaving the main station at 6.05 and 6.35, then every 15 minutes). At the "Marktplatz" take the W bus. It runs on a daily basis at 30 minute intervals, the first one leaving the Marktplatz at 6.16 am (6.46, 7.16, etc.…). The return bus also runs at 30 minute intervals, the first one leaving the Alpenzoo at 6.23 am. The last bus back to the city leaves at 22.53 pm. | by car: | The zoo can be reached by car via the Weiherburggasse or the Richardsweg. We only have a limited parking area and – as mentioned above – parking is subject to fees. Parking facilities at the „Marktplatz“ garage: We have a special arrangement for our visitors at the „Marktplatz“ garage. You pay 1 € an hour for the first 3 hours. To benefit from this arrangement you must show your ticket at the entrance to the zoo. The Alpenzoo is not accessible to tour buses longer than 8.5 m. Buses exceeding this length must be parked in the parking lot at the Hofgarten. |
